Brussels promises support to LNG and South gas corridor

Yesterday EC approved the list of 250 projects in the sphere of energy infrastructure (Projects of Common Interest, PCI), which can obtain subsidies from the pan-European fund at the amount of €5.85 billion in 2014-2020. About 40% of these projects are connected with the transportation of gas. However, not much attention is paid to outer deliveries of pipeline gas to Europe. No Russian gas delivery projects - neither acting Nord Stream Gazprom was going to expand, nor South Stream which will be constructed - were included in the list.
