Draft law on LNG export liberalization has been submitted to Government and must come in force from January 1 of 2014

The draft law on the liberalisation  of LNG export has been coordinated by Federal Ministries and Departments and submitted to the Government, the Minister of Energy, Alexander Novak stated.

According to him, the new law must come in force from January 1st of 2014.

Rosneft, Gazprom and Yamal LNG will come within the purview of the law. According to the Minister, the new law will enable to gradually liberalise the LNG export. “The FAS insists on the full liberalisation, but the consolidated attitude of the Government is the phased liberalization,” – the Minister stated.
