Turkey permits SOCAR to delay construction of oil-processing plant Star until autumn of 2018

Turkey has permitted SOCAR to delay the completion of the construction of the oil-processing plant Star in Izmir to the autumn of 2018 instead of in summer of 2015.

The license for the refinery construction was granted by the Turkish Authority on energy market (EPDK) regulation on June 23 of 2010.

Then the refinery was to be launched in 2015 – 60 months after the granting of the license. But SOCAR Energy Turkey received the permission on prolongation of this period to 100 months from EPDK.
