Ministry of Natural Resources has determined 24 sites with forecast oil and gas resources

​The Ministry of Natural Resources has approved a list of 24 objects containing forecast resources of hydrocarbons and underground mineral waters. The sites for geological study will be issued in 2015 on the account of funds of subsoil users.

23 sites contain forecast hydrocarbons resources.

2 sites in the Astrakhan region, 4 in Saratov region, 8 – in Perm region, 1 in Krasnodar  region, 1 in Rostov region, 1 in Omsk region, 1 in Bashkortostan and 1 in samara region are offered for study.

2 sites with the forecast D1 oil resources of 59.1 mln tons and D2-14.4 mln tons as well as D1 gas reserves of 8.6 bln cubic m, D2-5.1 bln cubic m will be offered in the Shuryshkarsky district in the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area.

The largest sites out of the offered one are located in the Krasnoyarsk region with the forecast D1 oil resources of 32.8 mln tons, D2-73.4 mln tons, forecast D1 gas resources of 105 bln cubic m, D2-121 bln cubic m.
