Rosneft completes program of geological exploration on Russian shelf for 2015

Rosneft has fully completed geological exploration program on offshore licensed areas for 2015, the company reports today.
The volume of the seismic survey was: 2D – 20 434 linear km in the Kara, Chukchi and Laptev Seas. During these works the integrated information system was used for the first time, developed jointly by the company and the Arctic Research Center, which enables real-time monitoring of ice conditions and the current position of the ice edge, as well as the features of the dynamics of fields of drifting ice and ice formations.
