In 2013, Russia reached 80% APG utilization level

By results of 2013, the associated petroleum gas utilization level in Russia grew to 80%. In the previous year it was 76.2%. Positive trend in the field of APG flaring reduction during the oil extraction was noted by Vice President of World Bank of Sustainable Development’s Rachel Kite during her speech at the Gaidarovsky forum on January, 15.

She also highly appreciated the cooperation of the World Bank with the Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district within global partnership on decrease of associated petroleum gas flaring, the Ministry of Natural Resources’ press centre reported.
