Large gas deposit has been discovered in Komi

The results of seismic exploration of the northern and eastern areas of the Timano-Pechora province have discovered the presence of large gas reserves in the district. The province is located in the republic of Komi, the Nenets autonomous area and the Arkhangelsk region, and neighbors to the Yamal- Nenets autonomous area. Its area is 350,000 sq. km. Now they are developed in the area oil deposits in h. of Trebs and Titov, and the arch in h. of Gamburtsev and Southern Khylchuya. The Russian Subsoil Use Management Agency reports that they performed seismic exploration in the Vorkuta and Intinsky district of the republic that have not been explored before
