Novatek increases capacity of Purov gas condensate processing plant to 11 million tons per year

Novatek has completed a project on the extension of the Purov gas condensate processing plant’s capacity from 5 to 11 million tons per year due to launch of the latest two (of four) new production trains of gas condensate stabilization with total capacity of 3 million tons per year, the company reports.
The operation of the first two trains with the same total capacity was started at the end of October of 2013. “We successfully completed the next strategic project, which allows us to balance potential of gas condensate extraction and capacities of its processing. The extension of the plant’s capacity was implemented within approved budget and as scheduled,” – the Chairman of the Novatek’s Board Leonid Mikhelson noted.
