Export duty for oil in Russia to fall by $7.1 to $105.8 per ton from March 1st
The oil export duty in Russia will fall by $7.1 to $105.8 per ton from March 1st against $112.9 per ton in February.
The chief expert of the department of tax and customs-tariff policy of the Ministry of Finance, A. Sakovich, said that the average oil price from Jan 14th until February 15th 2015 made up $49.98341/barrel or $364.9 per ton. A month earlier the average price was $52.307/barrel or $381.8/ton.
The preferential export duty for oil for a number of deposits stays equal to zero. According to Mr. Sakovich, such a rate was due to the changes of calculation of the duty due to the tax maneuver. Now with the oil price lower than $65, the duty becomes zero, he said.
