Blast furnace plant reached a record annual production at eight blast furnaces, produced 10.28 million tons of pig iron in 2014. The best since 2007, and the second result from 1991 was shown by steelmaking process stage, which produced 13.03 million tons of steel in 2014. One of the best results in its history, and also the best from 2007 was demonstrated by the oxygen-converter shop of MMK, again overcome the mark of 10 million tons of crude steel.
