Growth of shelf reserves made up 182 mln tons in 2014

​In 2014 the growth of C1 reserves at the shelf made up 182 mln tons of reference fuel at the plan of 392 mln tons, the Ministry of Natural Resources reports on the process of realization and assessment of efficiency of the Government program “Recovery and use of natural resources“ for 2014.

According to the document, the growth of oil and condensate reserves in 2014 made up 750 mln tons, natural gas – 1,250 bln cubic m. Compared to 2013, in 2014 the growth of the forecast resources o hydrocarbons raw materials rose by 5.3%. Oil and condensate reserves at the shelf rose by 35 bln cubic m (in 2013 – 516 bln cubic m).

The Ministry of Natural Resources says that in 2014 the planned rate of “growth of small-scale geological study determined in percent of the territory of Russia and its continental shelf” wasn’t reached. The rate was 7.2% against the planned 7.5%. The planned rate was not reached due to the realization of the Government orders on the rise of financing volumes for geological study of the subsoil in the Far Eastern federal district.
