Before the end of the year, Uralelectromed will prepare the site for construction of the second line in the new copper electrolysis shop

Uralelectromed, the enterprise of the metallurgic complex of UGMK, continues preparing of the site for construction of the second line in the new copper electrolysis shop, operating on unsupported technology. Apart from the technology where pure copper bases are used, unsupported technology presupposes the use of constant cathode made of rustproof steel where copper residues. They reported before that construction of the second line would begin at the part of the former electrolysis shop using the technology with copper bases.
