In Q1 of 2014, Evraz’s steel production fell by 8%

In the first quarter of 2014, Evraz plc reduced its consolidated steel production by 8% because of planned repairs at Russian metallurgical plants, the Evraz’s press centre reports.
The steel production at the Evraz’s plants fell by 9.2% as compared with the same period of 2013 to 3.693 million tons. The production of finished rolled metal decreased by 4% as compared with the previous quarter and by 5.8% as compared with the same period of the previous year to 3.789 million tons.
