Sechin to change from president of Rosneft into its CEO

Igor Sechin will cease to be president of Rosneft, he will become its CEO. This change in the title of his post will be considered by the company's shareholders at the annual meeting in St. Petersburg on June 15.

After the approval by the shareholder the new name of the senior position will be added to the charter of Rosneft. But this is not the only change. A proposal to change the legal status of the company from the open joint stock company to public company will also be submitted for the vote.
