Gazprom: it is early to speak about gas supply from Russia to South Korea via North Korea

​All depends on the political agreement between South and North Koreas, deputy chairman of Gazprom, A. Medvedev, said.

The deputy chairman of Gazprom, A. Medvedev, considers the talks about the supply of the Russian pipeline gas via North Korea to South Korea to be preliminary but still assesses this variant to be the most economically effective.

“The level of communication, cooperation is not that high so one could speak about the realization of pipeline gas supply via North Korea to South Korea but even to turning to the stage when the project of economic assessment can exist though from the economic point of view this would be the most effective variant of gas supply to South Korea”, Mr. Medvedev said.
