The Ukraine is interested in purchasing gas from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, the Head of the European Integration Department of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, Mikhail Bno-Ayriyan reported on his Twitter page on Thursday.
According to him, this was stated at the meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Ukraine, Gennady Zubkov with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Bakytzhan Sagintayev, in which the Ukrainian Minister of Energy, Vladimir Demchishin also took part.
"The Minister: we are ready to buy gas from Kazakhstan. It is necessary to return to this issue. There are difficulties with its transit, but we must deal with the issue," – the representative of the Ministry of Energy wrote about the meeting.
