Vladimir Lisin is deprived of ability to compete with his offshore.deposits
Only "LUKOIL" will be allowed to compete with "Gazprom" and "Rosneft" at the shelf deposits.
The billionaire Vladimir Lisin, who among other things owns "Severneftegas" and "Chernomorneftegaz", may be deprived of the right to seek and produce oil and gas in the five areas of the shelf of the Barents Sea and Black Sea by the end of 2017. His structures are not included in the list of companies that will be allowed by the government to continue to explore for and produce oil and gas on the continental shelf on the basis of the licenses issued before 2008. The reason was the negative conclusion of the presidential administration in the face of Andrei Belousov, the presidential aide ("the Izvestiya" has a copy). The fact that the amendments to the law "On Subsoil" leave the private companies only areas in the Baltic Sea - the question is about "Lukoil", is also mentioned in the draft of the government report to the President (also have wording).
