Lukoil plans to invest 150 bln roubles into development of Baltic Sea

​Lukoil plans to reach the maximum oil extraction of 2.15 mln tons at the shelf of the Baltic Sea in 2027, Vice-President I. Mandrik said.

Lukoil plans to invest 150 bln roubles into the development of deposits and perspective structures in the water area of the Baltic Sea until 2031, I. Mandrik said.

The expected investment volume into the development of structures in the Baltic Sea makes up 150 bln roubles.

Lukoil in 2016-2031 plans to put into operation 4 new deposits in the water area of the Baltic Sea, drill 47 operational wells. It is planned to reach the maximum extraction of 2.115 mln tons in 2027.

Lukoil needs to construct 28 platforms with the total weight of up to 150 thousand tons to develop the deposits in the Baltic and Caspian Seas.
