Russia will lose $700 mln on the cancellation of oil duties with Belarus

The Government of Russia assesses the loss of the Russian budget from the cancellation of oil duties between Russia and Belarus at $700 mln in 2015, Minister of Finance of Russia, S. Shatalov said.

“Our additional losses will be at the level of about $700 mln”, Mr. Shatalov said.

Previously the Governments of 2 countries agreed that Russia would cancel the duty for oil and oil products sale with Belarus from 2015 if Minsk cancels all collections in the trade with Moscow in the framework of the Customs Union agreement.
