"SG-Trans" extends its contract with "Bashneft".

"Bashneft" will pay "SG-Trans" 65 billion roubles for the transportation of 49 million tons of cargo up to 2020. It is more than two times higher than the market rate, experts say

Last meeting of the shareholders "Bashneft" approved the signing of a contract for the carriage of 49 million tons of cargo from May 1, 2014 to December 31, 2019 with the "SG-Trans", the company informed. It is approximately 8.9 million tons of cargo per year. The value of the contract is 65 billion roubles. The representative of "SG-Trans" declined to comment, his colleague from "Bashneft" have not answered the questions.

"SG-Trans" has got a very lucrative contract, says CEO agency "Infoline-analyst" Mikhail Burmistrov. If we assume that "Bashneft" orders the transfer of the main products - petroleum or petroleum products, the rental rate on it is 2000 roubles without VAT per day per tank. The average market rental rates now are 700-800 roubles. "Thus, in the next five years "Bashneft" will bring more than half of the revenue to the railway operator", - Burmistrov stated.
