Gazprom’s subsidiary to spend 1.5 billion for Serbian refineries

The company NIS, which is the Gazprom’s subsidiary, intends to invest 1.5 billion euro into development of two Serbian oil-processing plants in the next year.

According to the agency Prime, this was announced by the Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak, who visited Belgrade on Friday. “Today, we discussed new projects that will be implemented by NIS. It is a question of start of the Novy-Sad refinery reconstruction in 2014. Project on lubricant refining will be implemented there in fact. The second direction is increase of the processing depth at the Panchevo refinery. The total amount of investments into these projects will be about 1.5 billion euro in the next year,” – the Russian Minister reported.
