Government of Azerbaijan talks about the budget because of falling oil prices

The Azerbaijani Government doesn’t plan to review forecasts of the state budget for 2016, despite the fact that the price of Azerbaijani oil on world markets slightly exceeded $39 per barrel yesterday.

The real current price on Azeri Light - the main export grade of Azeri oil – is even lower than the most pessimistic forecast of the Government. According to the AMI Trend, the budget forecasts for 2016 were prepared, taking into account three scenarios: pessimistic one, with the oil price of $40 per barrel, basic one - $50, and optimistic one - $60 per barrel.
