The Azerbaijani Government doesn’t plan to review forecasts of the state budget for 2016, despite the fact that the price of Azerbaijani oil on world markets slightly exceeded $39 per barrel yesterday.
The real current price on Azeri Light - the main export grade of Azeri oil – is even lower than the most pessimistic forecast of the Government. According to the AMI Trend, the budget forecasts for 2016 were prepared, taking into account three scenarios: pessimistic one, with the oil price of $40 per barrel, basic one - $50, and optimistic one - $60 per barrel.
