Lukoil is in top-5 by ecological efficiency

​Lukoil is in top-5 of the annual rating of ecological efficiency of oil and gas companies of Russia.

Lukoil said that a level of potential influence on the environment among the participants of the rating was assessed by the World Wildlife Fund of Russia and CREON analytical group.

The experts highly assessed the nature preserving activity and quality of corporate management of Lukoil.

Lukoil was the first among the companies of the Russian fuel and energy sector to start regularly reporting on the stable development, the most important direction of which is the rational use of natural resources.

The ecological efficiency of the companies of the fuel and energy sector was assessed by a number of results, such as the quality of ecological management, level of influence on the environment and information release.

In total 21 companies participated in the rating-2015.
