Nizhnekamskneftehim to plan to convert ethylene production by naphtha oil.

Nizhnekamskneftehim (NKNH belongs to the group TAIF) plans to transfer the production of ethylene from the gas feedstock to naphtha oil, said General Director of Nizhnekamskneftehim Azat Bikmurzin at the last weekly meeting of company executives.

"It will be necessary to think that we can do to improve primarily the work of pyrolysis and fractionation in terms of capacity for a heavy raw material. There is a view - from gas to go to the straight-run gasoline," - said A. Bikmurzin.

At present, the production capacity of ethylene Nizhnekamskneftehim is 600 thousand tons per year. The raw material for pyrolysis NKNH uses naphtha, wide fraction of light hydrocarbons, liquefied petroleum gases. As of 2010, raw material basket was as follows: 52% - NAFTA, 36% - LPG, 12% - natural gas liquids.
