In November, fall in steel production in Russia hastened to 4%

According to the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, published on Tuesday, in January – November, the crude steel production at metallurgical enterprises in Russia amounted to 63.7 million tons, which is by 1.2% less than in the same period of the previous year. In November, the fall in the steel production accelerated to 1.8% as compared with October, and made up 4.2% as compared to November 2014.

In January-November, the production of pig iron increased by 4.5% to 49.1 million tons as compared with the same period of the previous year, while in November, it fell by 4% as compared with October, and increased by 2.4% as compared with November 2014.
