In 2012, the Omsk oil-processing plant (ONPZ) increased oil processing by 5% as compared to 2011 to 20.95 million tons. In 2012, the oil processing depth made up 88.83% - this is one of the best rates in the sector.
The output of automotive gasoline at ONPZ grew by 14.5% to 4.7 million tons. The production share of high-octane gasoline made up 88% - by 2% more than in 2011.
The production of marine fuels made up 3.2 million tons that is more than 1.5 times more than in 2011. The kerosene production grew by 8.2% to 1.5 million tons.
In 2012, an engine fuel hydro-skimming facility was gradually launched at the plant – it includes an eat cracking naphtha hydrotreater and diesel hydro-treater. That allowed the plant to increase the production of gasoline of the 4th and 5th ecological grades to 2.38 million tons that is more than 30 times more than the rates of 2011, and also to start the production of diesel fuel of the 4th and 5th grades.
In 2012, the World Refiners Association (WRA) acknowledged that the Gazpromneft’s Omsk oil-processing plant was the best oil-processing plant in Russia and the CIS, highly estimated projects that were implemented at the Omsk oil-processing plant within the upgrade program (through until 2020).
