In 2013 Russia is ahead of Norway in gas exports

In 2013 Russia was ahead of Norway as the largest gas supplier to Europe. Russian supplies are up by 16%, Norwegian ones are down by 5%. There was delivered 102. 5 billion cubic meters of gas from the Norwegian continental shelf via the gas transportation operator Gassco in 2013. It is by 4.9 billion cubic metres less than a year before, the web site “Neft Rossii” states.

Owing to the price reduction, frost and the growth of production the supplies by Gazprom to Europe were up by 16% in 2013. They made up 161.5 billion cubic meters against 138 billion cubic meters in 2012. They are ahead of Norway by 30%.
