Gazprom does not expect critical effect from the suspension of gas supply from Azerbaijan

Gazprom does not consider there could be critical effect from a suspension of gas supply from Azerbaijan, the deputy chairman of the Board of Management of the Russian gas holding V.Golubev said.

“The volume of purchases from Azerbaijan is not so great that it could influence the balance of gas in the country. Nothing critical,” he said on the sidelines of the Gaidarovsky forum. As they said in OAO “Gazprom” in Prime Agency, Azerbaijan ceased gas supply to Russia since January 13. It delivered 3 million cubic meters of gas a day before.
