Greece wants maximum gas cost allowance from Russia

The Government of Greece wants to get gas discount from Russia. They want the price to be not higher than $380 per 1 thousand cubic meters. An official spokesman for the government states.

“To date Greece buys gas for $467 per 1 thousand cubic meters, while average gas prices for the European countries make up $370. So, we overpay for the gas,” S.Kedikoglou said.

Earlier there was information in RIA Novosti that DEPA and Gazprom have managed to agree on gas price reduction to $399.5 per 1 thousand cubic meters.
