Severneftegazprom has started construction of new production well for Turone gas extraction

On February 14th, Severneftegazprom started the construction of one more production well for Turone hard- to extract gas extraction at the Yuzhno-Russkoye deposit. The Turone gas deposit bears up to 30% of total reserves of the field.
The CEO of Severneftegazprom, S. Tsygankov says that development of Turone hard-to extracte gas is important not only for the company but for the whole Russia as well. Innovational technologies make Severneftegazprom the pioneer in the sphere, and its successful experience can be widely used in the future. Russia has large reserves of Turone gas, and other gas producers will have to think over its extraction one day.
