Dvorkovich has stated that the current volatility of oil prices prevents the growth of investment in oil production, but as soon as the stream dries up, the prices will jump back up to $80 per barrel.
Many investment won’t take place if there is such volatility in the oil prices, and if there is no investment, there won’t be such supply, A. Dvorkovich said.
Previously, almost the same was said by Igor Sechin.
The prices may increase in one moment, when it turns out that investments weren’t made and there is just no oil, the Russian economist said in the evening of February 16th, 2015.
