Gazprom seeks replacement for foreign suppliers

The Board of Directors of Gazprom has amended a procurement policy. The company seeks replacement for foreign suppliers; it purchased products at $2.5 billion a year, the source in the internet writes.

Metal goods and engineering products, including cars, agricultural, road-building and municipal engineering equipment, will be mainly purchased from the Russian manufacturers exclusive of the ones, which have no analogues in Russia. But Gazprom does not want to be limited to machine building and metallurgy. In late 2014 it started an implementation of import substitution programme.
