Rosneft pays more than others: company discloses the income of its top managers

Rosneft has disclosed amount of payments to its top managers for the first time: 13 Board members of the state-owned company received 2.8 billion rubles in 2014. On the basis of the already published data from other industry participants and large state-owned companies, this is the maximum as for the total amount, as on the average per person. Rosneft didn’t disclose incomes of individual managers, but sources of the Kommersant say that their remunerations are very different. By results of 2015 the payments may be reduced: the difficult economic situation is fraught with reduction in bonuses.

Yesterday, Rosneft disclosed data on payments to its Board members. These are 13 people - the president Igor Sechin, ten vice-presidents, the general director of Angarsk petrochemical company Igor Pavlov and financial director Peter Lazarev. By results of work in 2014, they received 2.8 billion rubles (the average amount is about 215 million rubles per person). Level of the payments to specific top managers of Rosneft wasn’t specified. The company only said that 2.97 million rubles, received by Sechin for his work in the Board of Directors of Inter RAO UES (he is chairman of the Board) were transferred to charity.
