Barnaul Kristall to become centre of diamond business of Alrosa

President of Alrosa Andrei Zharkov has announced reforming the cutting and polishing complex. This means that the Barnaul site will become a parent company. And plants in Moscow and Orel will become subsidiaries of Kristall. The purpose of the reform is to increase the production volumes, rates and wages. "Bad luck" of the cutting industry

The "cutting" reform is dictated by the difficult situation, in which the industry is. Over the past six years, the volume of the production of finished products of diamonds fell by 7% in the country. Experts say that this was contributed by a number of factors.
