New and, one might say, the ambitious proposal of the European Commission (EC) about the innovations in the European gas market are not directed against "Gazprom", although it can affect its performance in the future, the European Commission states.
The EU is the largest gas importer in the world. Its dependence on imports of this fuel has grown in recent years. The largest supplier to the EU is "Gazprom".
