Chelyabinsk Zinc plant is about to carry out modernization and increase the capacity up to 0.2 million tons a year in the coming two years.
“If there is no force majeure, the plans are real for us…. Despite negative development in the Russian economy, we can monitor stable demand in Russia during the first months of 2015. Fluctuation in exchange value of rouble in late 2014 made the Chelyabinsk Zinc plant terminate modernization programme of the enterprises for 3-4 months.
