Kriogaz to launch low-tonnage LNG plant in the Pskov region at the end of May, 2016

Kriogaz, Gazprombank’s subsidiary, prepares to launch a low-tonnage plant to produce liquefied natural gas in the Pskov region. This was announced by Kriogaz’s CEO R. Rudnitsky on May 17, 2016.

Kriogaz expects to receive the first tons of LNG at the new plant on May 26, 2016.

The plant's capacity will be 21 thousand tons of LNG per year (3 tons per hour).

LNG, produced at the first stage, will be delivered to European consumers, and virtually all the gas is contracted, there is no spare capacity at the plant.

R. Rudnitsky said that Kriogaza had a partner, interested in the LNG deliveries from the Pskov region in Europe, but didn’t disclose the name of the company.
