In Q1, Gazprom increased gas export to Western Europe by 31.9%

In the first quarter of 2016, Gazprom increased gas exports to Western Europe by 31.9% to 36.777 billion cubic meters. Such data was reported by on Gazprom in the quarterly message May 16, 2016.

The major consumer of Russian gas in the region in the first quarter were:

- Germany – the growth in the supply by 26.7% to 12.05 cubic meters;

- Italy - + 28% to 6.364 billion cubic meters;
