In Q1 the net profit of SIBUR increases by 4.5 times.

In Q1 2016 the net profit of SIBUR Holding, largest petrochemical holding in Russia and Eastern Europe, according to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) grew by 4.5 times and amounted to 23.2 billion roubles, the company informs in a statement.

In January-March the revenue of SIBUR Holding grew by 20% - to 90.5 billion roubles. Within Q1 the cost of sales amounted to 59.3 billion roubles (a 27.9% growth), gross profit - 31.2 billion roubles (a 7.6% growth). Operating profit decreased by 1.8% - to 20.6 billion roubles. Profit before tax amounted to 28.3 billion roubles. (a 4.4 times increase).
