Lukoil starts to develop fields in the south of Uzbekistan

Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company has started to develop gas condensate fields of the South-Western Gissar in the Kashkadarya region in southern Uzbekistan, the company reports on Monday.

“Works on construction of surface facilities at gas condensate fields Gumbulak and Adamtash and increase of the extraction at the field Djarkuduk-Yanghi Kyzylcha were started at the block South-Western Gissar in the Kashkadarya,” – the report says. According to the operator, the launch of the main facilities - a complex gas treatment plant with capacity of up to 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year, field support base and engineering services is scheduled for 2015. The total amount of investments will make up over $1.2 billion.
