BP and Shell to sign cooperation agreements with China in gas filed

BP and Royal-Dutch -Shell will sign agreements on cooperation with China in the gas field, the Financial Times reports today.

Transactions will be announced today during a meeting between the British Prime Minister David Cameron and the Prime Minister of the Chinese State Council Li Keqiang, who began a three-day visit to the United Kingdom on Monday.

One of the agreements provides for long-term supply of liquefied gas to China by BP from fields in different parts of the world to the amount of more than £5 billion ($8.5 billion).
