Kazakhstan not to cover Kashagan investors’ expenses for replacement of pipe

The Kazakh Government won’t refund costs associated with the replacement of the pipe to the consortium of the Kashagan project, the Prime Minister Karim Masimov said on Wednesday.

"According to our agreement, the state won’t reimburse the costs associated with the replacement of the pipe. It is a burden on the companies themselves," - said Massimov at the joint session of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
