Lukoil offers to Iran to come back to develop block of oil fields of Anaran

Lukoil intends to return to Iran and made a formal proposal to the country's authorities. This was reported by V. Alekperov at the SPIEF 2016 in St. Petersburg on June 16, 2016.
Today we made a formal proposal to the Government of Iran to return to the Anaran project, where we opened a good offer, and our experts are ready to launch it very quickly, - said the Lukoil’s head.
What the Iranian authorities answered is still unknown.
The Anaran block of oil fields, which includes Shangule, was discovered in 2005. Its geological oil reserves amount to 2 billion barrels.
