Dmitry Medvedev deprives Ukraine of the quotas for the delivery of steel pipes to Russia

The RF PM Dmitry Medvedev has decided not to prolong the quotas for delivery of Ukrainian pipes to Russia to this half-year bypassing a number of applications concerning this.

“We have to put the advantages of the Customs Union to good use in order to protect ourselves from unfair competition with foreign producers and think of the measures we need to take to protect our domestic market in the framework of the international obligations our country has assumed”, the PM has noted at the meeting devoted to development of ferrous metallurgy.
