On September 1st, West-Siberian metal works stops sort steel rolling shop

The enterprise’s owners explain the decision by the situation in the market. The fall in prices for the products gives no opportunity to make any profit and cover the high production expenses. The losses for 2013 of the sort rolled steel producers were 155 million rubles, and this year the situation is even worse.
On June 1st, they closed the coke chemical shop at the railway steel shop of the enterprise, due to worsening of the situation in the market and the losses connected with that, and due to reduction in their own coking coal consumption. In 2013, the city-building enterprise closed the steel plate rolling shop.
