In H1, net profit of Schlumberger fell to $2.1 billion

In January-June 2015, the company’s earnings per share fell to $1.64 from $2.42. The revenues decreased by 17% to $19.258 billion.

In the second quarter, the net profit of Schlumberger fell by 29.5% to $1.124 billion. The earnings per share were 88 cents against $1.21 in the April-June last year. At the same time, analysts expected that the figure would fall to 79 cents. The quarterly revenues amounted to $9.01 billion, which is by 25% less than in the same period last year.
