Russia ready to participate in Iranian oil and gas projects

Russia plans to participate in the Iranian oil and gas projects when sanctions are eliminated from Teheran, A. Novak said.
It is primarily about those projects in which Russia has already participated. Iran will also offer some joint projects to Russia, he said. In Iran the prime cost of oil extraction is low, so the Russian companies are ready to cooperate with this country.
After the cancellation of international restrictions, the volume of the oil extraction in Iran might make up 2.5 mln barrels. The growth of the daily oil extraction of 900 – 1 mln barrels is possible within a year, Novak said.
Previously Pronedra wrote that Iran hopes to return to the previous volumes of oil export within 3 months.
