А. Sultanov has headed Uzbekneftegas

​The Government of Uzbekistan has approved a regulation in conformity with which A. Sultanov, who previously was the first deputy head of Uzbekneftegas, has been appointed the chairman of the company.

The ex-head of Uzbekneftegas, Sh. Fayzullaev, is appointed the deputy Minister of Economy.

Sultanov has been working in the oil and gas sector of Uzbekistan since 1996. In 2002-2003 he headed the enterprise “Shurtansky gas chemicals complex”.

The capacity of Uzbekneftegas allows to provide gas extraction at the volume of about 60-70 bln cubic m and 8 mln tons of liquid hydrocarbons a year. Due to that Uzbekneftegas is the 11t in the world by gas extraction.
