Ministry of Finance to reduce oil export duties from September

​Oil export duty in Russia will fall by 17.96% to $109.2/ton from September 1st 2015 against $133.1/ton in August, he leading expert of the department of tax and customs-tariff policy of the Ministry of Finance, A. Sakovich said.

According to him, the fall is connected with the price fall in the world: from July 15th until August 14th the average cost of a barrel of oil was $51, a month earlier - $58.9. The average cost of a ton of fuel made up $373 against $430.1 a month earlier.

Sakovich said that the oil exported from a number of deposits will still not be imposed duty on.

From September the preferential export duty for superviscous oil will fall from $17 to $13.7/barrel. The duty for naphta will be $92.8, saleable petrol - $85.1, light oil products and greasing oils - $52.4. Dark oil products - $82.9, coke - $7. LPG is not imposed export duty.
