The admission of private companies to the shelf of the Arctic needs to be discussed and will be considered by the Government in the autumn, after the meeting of the FEC Presidential Commission, the Minister of Natural Resources Sergei Donskoy reported.
The Minister added that the problem could be considered at the meeting of the Commission on the development of the Arctic under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. "In fact, it is necessary to consider the issue thoroughly, but in this regard, perhaps, now there is some delay. It requires further assessment," - said Donskoy.
